JAIN Conference China
The Netherlands Dementia and Technology, Brain Science and Artificial Intelligence International Industry-University-Research 27 and 28 Oct. 2022
Inspired by the past visit of our minister Conny Helder to China, November 2019 and building on the success of the World JAIN Challenge (WJC), China has expressed its willingness to cooperate with JAIN on improving quality of life with dementia in China. Our Chinese co-creation partner is the Shanghai University. The Chinese Government has agreed to the cooperation.
Dutch Embassy attachés and innovation advisors Nico Schiettekatte and David Bekkers are closely involved in the organization of this conference. On the side of JAIN, drs. Marco Blom, dr. Henk Herman Nap, and prof. dr. Wijnand IJsselstein are involved. The intended keynote speakers from the JAIN Coalition have already been approached. For example, prof. dr. Dick Swaab has already confirmed his presence as a keynote speaker.
Statement minster Conny Helder during World JAIN Challenge speech:
‘Improving the quality of life of people with dementia requires a global approach.’
