Let us introduce to you our World JAIN Challenge’s speakers.
In a few hours the first day of WJC 2022 starts. The ambassador of Sweden, Bengt van Loosdrecht, will welcome everybody to the new edition. Bengt van Loosdrecht will speak live from the Dutch Embassy as JAIN broadcasts the event from the Dutch Innovation House in Sweden.
Hereafter, we will have 3 very interesting speakers. Professor Charles Scerri, University of Malta & Vice-Chairmen of Alzheimer Europe will share his experience, operating in the aforementioned organizations. We are glad that the VC of Alzheimer Europe joins us during the event.
Dr. Franka Meiland, University Amsterdam UMC & Chair Interdem Assessment Committee. JAIN is very happy cooperating with Franka Meiland. Franka is the chair of the WJC committee and she has a very broad perspective on dementia and scientific developments. Franka will give an important talk on developing a world wide community, tackling dementia and memory loss obstacles.
And the last speaker of today, but certainly not the least, is professor Arlene Astell, University of Toronto, Canada. Arlene Astell is director of the Dementia Aging Technology Engagement (DATE) lab at KITE, and full professor in Neurocognitive Diseases at the University of Reading, UK.
