Conference Cyber Resilience & Continuity Healthcare
Date & Location:
Wednesday afternoon, March 3, 2027 | Jaarbeurs Utrecht, The Netherlands
Note on Conference Language:
Please note that the official language of this conference, all presentations, and the debate will be Dutch.
The Vulnerability of Healthcare Infrastructure
During a recent JAIN expert session, the acute vulnerability of healthcare institutions and their supply chains became painfully evident. Data and analyses from risk experts at Aon reveal that a successful ransomware attack leads to:
- Extended Outages: An average operational standstill of the healthcare process lasting at least 28 days.
- Financial Disruption: Exorbitant ransom demands and recovery costs that can directly lead to bankruptcy for healthcare organizations and innovative SME tech partners alike.
- Societal Damage: Immediate threats to patient safety, care continuity, and a loss of public trust.
No single healthcare institution or technology supplier can bear this risk individually.
National Top Conference
To inform the sector about this critical threat and present concrete, proactive solutions in the areas of supply chain security, NIS2 compliance, and local data sovereignty, the JAIN Foundation—supported by and in close collaboration with Health~Holland and Digital Holland—is hosting a national top conference free of charge for key stakeholders:
- Event: Cyber Resilience and Continuity in Healthcare
- Date & Location: Wednesday afternoon, March 3, 2027 | Jaarbeurs Utrecht, The Netherlands
- Target Audience: Board members (CEOs/CISOs) of large healthcare organizations (€50M+), innovative technology suppliers, regulators, investors, and policymakers
- Objective: Inform healthcare stakeholders about risks and provide concrete, actionable guidelines and solutions for structural supply chain security and continuity
Structure & Program Highlights
1. Core Thematic Pillars
The conference program focuses on strategic supply chain collaboration, structured around three main themes:
- Privacy-by-Design & Ethical Governance: Translating GDPR and the European AI Act into concrete technical system specifications, including Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and decentralized data architectures.
- Practical Healthcare Technology: Scaling non-invasive, privacy-friendly sensor technologies (such as anonymous 3D LiDAR, radar, acoustic AI, and smart floors) to safeguard client autonomy and safety.
- Cyber Resilience & Risk Management: Ensuring supply chain continuity in compliance with NEN 7510 and NIS2, including smart supply chain management and risk-mitigating insurance frameworks.
2. Main Program: Oxford-Style / House of Commons Debate
The centerpiece of the conference is an interactive debate designed as a strategic catalyst to move away from fragmented solutions and forge a unified industrial chain. The debate will address critical questions such as:
- How do strict security requirements strengthen market innovation rather than hamper it?
- How can partners achieve interoperable, decentralized, and privacy-friendly architectures?
- How can the industrial collective leverage economies of scale to secure subsidies and strategic funding?
- How can healthcare guarantees remain resilient during outages or restructuring of individual suppliers?
3. Parallel Information Market
Throughout the conference, a curated information market will take place. Specialized companies and supply chain partners will have the opportunity to showcase their products, services, and innovative solutions directly to attending experts, directors, and board members.
Note: Exhibition space on the information market involves a modest fee to help cover organization costs. Interested parties can indicate their request during registration.
